ABOUT Layered strawberry pannacotta RECIPE

It is an italian desert with sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and molded. The cream aromatized with various flavours.Because of strawberries are in season i make three layered strawberry pannacotta.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 10 strawberries chopped
  2. 1.5 cup cream
  3. 3/4 cup milkmaid
  4. 1.5 cup powder sugar
  5. 6 tsp gelatin
  6. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  7. 2 drops of red colour
  8. For garnish
  9. 2 Strawberries and mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Make puree of strawberries and sieve it
  2. For 1st layer---
  3. Soak 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tsp water
  4. Take half cup cream and half cup strawberry puree
  5. Heat them on gas and add half cup sugar
  6. Stir continuously
  7. And add gelatin
  8. Stir till gelatin completely dissolved
  9. Then turn off gas
  10. Whisk it with spoon and pour in a mould
  11. Keep mould in freeze for half an hour to set
  12. For 2 nd layer--
  13. Soak 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tsp water
  14. Take half cup of cream and half cup of milkmaid
  15. And heat on gas
  16. Add 1/2 cup sugar and stir it continuously on low flame
  17. Then add soaked gelatin and stir
  18. Till gelatin dissolve completely
  19. Turn off gas
  20. Whisk it and cool it little
  21. Then add vanilla essence
  22. Bring the mould from freeze and pir this upon 1 st layer
  23. Again keep in freeze for half an hour to set
  24. For 3 rd layer----
  25. Soak 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tsp water
  26. Take 1/2 cup of strawberry puree
  27. And 1/4 cup of cream
  28. And again heat them in low flame
  29. Add 1/4 cup milkmaid Stir continuously
  30. Add 1/2 cup sugar and stir
  31. Add gelatin and cook till gelatin dissolved
  32. Turn off gas
  33. Cool a little and add 2 drops of colour and mix
  34. Now bring mould from freeze and pour mix upon 2 nd layer
  35. And again keep in freeze till serving
  36. At the time of serving take hot water
  37. Pot mould in it for 2 min.
  38. Then take a knife and insert delicately in all sides
  39. And demould it in serving plate
  40. Decorate with strawberry and mint
