It is an italian desert with sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and molded. The cream aromatized with various flavours.Because of strawberries are in season i make three layered strawberry pannacotta.
Make puree of strawberries and sieve it
For 1st layer---
Soak 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tsp water
Take half cup cream and half cup strawberry puree
Heat them on gas and add half cup sugar
Stir continuously
And add gelatin
Stir till gelatin completely dissolved
Then turn off gas
Whisk it with spoon and pour in a mould
Keep mould in freeze for half an hour to set
For 2 nd layer--
Soak 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tsp water
Take half cup of cream and half cup of milkmaid
And heat on gas
Add 1/2 cup sugar and stir it continuously on low flame
Then add soaked gelatin and stir
Till gelatin dissolve completely
Turn off gas
Whisk it and cool it little
Then add vanilla essence
Bring the mould from freeze and pir this upon 1 st layer
Again keep in freeze for half an hour to set
For 3 rd layer----
Soak 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tsp water
Take 1/2 cup of strawberry puree
And 1/4 cup of cream
And again heat them in low flame
Add 1/4 cup milkmaid Stir continuously
Add 1/2 cup sugar and stir
Add gelatin and cook till gelatin dissolved
Turn off gas
Cool a little and add 2 drops of colour and mix
Now bring mould from freeze and pour mix upon 2 nd layer
And again keep in freeze till serving
At the time of serving take hot water
Pot mould in it for 2 min.
Then take a knife and insert delicately in all sides
And demould it in serving plate
Decorate with strawberry and mint
