A juicy flavourful burger which is a medley of flavours. The slight bitterness from coffee is well balanced by the sweetness of caramalized onion and spiciness of the patty..

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For spiced coffee rub
  2. Instant coffee powder 1tbsp
  3. Red chilli powder 2tsp
  4. Salt
  5. Brown sugar 1/2tbsp
  6. Garlic powder 2tsp
  7. Maggi masala 1/2tbsp
  8. For burger patty
  9. Chicken mince 500gms
  10. 1 grated onion
  11. 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  12. Salt
  13. 1tsp red chilli powder
  14. 2 egg yolks
  15. 1tsp garlic paste
  16. 2tbsp olive oil
  17. For assembling the burger
  18. Burger bun
  19. Thinly sliced tomato
  20. Caramelized onion slices
  21. Butterhead lettuce
  22. Butter
  23. Mustard mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients listed for coffee seasoning.
  2. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. In another bowl add all the ingredients listed for burger patty except olive oil.
  4. Mix all the ingredients nicely and adjust the seasoning.
  5. Now spread olive oil in your palms and mix in the patty mixture.
  6. Carefully shape a thick patty.
  7. Apply the coffee seasoning on both the sides of the patty.
  8. Shallow fry the patty in butter on slow flame till it's cooked from the centre.
  9. Take it out on a kitchen towel.
  10. Slice the burger bun from the centre.
  11. Apply some butter and warm it up on a grill pan
  12. Place the lower half of the bun and spread some mayonnaise on it.
  13. Now put some butterhead lettuce on it and stack it with tomato slices.
  14. Put the burger patty and spread caramelized onion slices over it.
  15. Spread some more mustard mayonnaise and cover with the upper part of the bun and serve hot.
