Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  2. chaat masala & lime wedges for garnish
  3. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder,
  4. 1/4 cup chopped mint & coriander leaves
  5. 1/2 cup hung yogurt
  6. 1 cup boiled sweet potato
  7. 1 teaspoon turmeric,
  8. 1 teaspoon garam masala,
  9. salt

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, grind together chickpea, sweet potato and all the seasoning.
  2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. In a big bowl, mix together hung yogurt & herbs with the chickpea mix. Make round or oval patties. You can also skewer these patties onto a bamboo stick.
  3. Wrap the baking sheet with foil. It is optional to spray oil at this stage but feel free to not. This will not affect the taste. Place the kebab patties on this tray and bake for 35 minutes. Remember to flip over the kebabs midway.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala and lime juice on hot kebabs and serve them with a green salad.
