Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Grated carrot - 3 cup
  2. Grated ginger - 1/4 cup
  3. Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  4. Carom seeds - 1/4 tsp
  5. Asafoetida/hing - a pinch
  6. Water 3 cup
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Sugar - 2 tsp
  9. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  10. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  11. Butter - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan
  2. Add cumin seeds,carom seeds and asafoetida/hing.
  3. Add carrot and ginger and saute for 15 mins
  4. Once cooled.add 3 cup of water in a blender and m ake a paste.
  5. Add sugar salt and boil in the pan.
  6. Before serving add lemon juice and black pepper powder.
