ABOUT Lebanase falafel RECIPE

Channa dhal is good for health. Children doesn't like boiled channa. If we making like this means they must love it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chickpeas / Channa- 2 cup Soaked Overnight
  2. Onion-1cup (chopped)
  3. Coriander leaves-1 cup
  4. Pudina-1 cup
  5. Garlic-4 cloves
  6. Cumin powde-1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder / Malli podi-2 tsp
  8. Chilli powder-1 tsp
  9. Pepper powder-1 tsp
  10. Baking powder-1 tsp
  11. Lemon -2 tblspn
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Breadcrumbs- ½ cup
  14. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Take chickpeas,onions,cilantro,mint,garlic,chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,pepper powder ,baking powder,salt,lemon juice in a blender and make into a smooth paste.
  2. Tip this into a mixing bowl and add in some bread crumbs and mix well.
  3. Make this into shape of balls or any shape and fry them in medium hot oil till golden brown.
  4. Serve it with tahini or any sauce..
