ABOUT Chilli Brownies( No Bake) RECIPE

So very delicious and easy to put together, brownies to impress your valentine. Recipe adapted from cooking blog.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups walnuts
  2. 2 cups pitted dates
  3. 1/2 tsp chili powder +1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  4. 2 tbsp maple syrup/honey/brown sugar for every 1 tbsp of maple syrup add 2 -1/3 tbsp of honey or sugar.
  5. 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  6. 1/4 cup coconut milk+ unsalted butter 1 tsp to add glaze
  7. To make Ganache:
  8. 1/4 tsp Salt
  9. 1 tsp cinnamon+1 tsp chili powder
  10. 2 tbsp flax seed meal (roast flax seeds lightly on skillet/kadai.Cool and grind).
  11. 1 cup cocoa powder
  12. 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  13. 2 1/2 cup pitted dates

Instructions

  1. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. In your food processor add the walnuts, chili powder, flax seed meal and cinnamon and pulse until fine. Add the cocoa powder and pulse for 10 seconds. Add the pitted dates in 2-3 batches. Press the mixture into the lined baking pan. If the batter is too thick you can add 2-3 tsp of milk to it.
  2. Heat coconut milk and butter in microwave for 1 minute. Pour it over cocoa powder. Add honey, chili powder, cinnamon powder and chilli flakes. Your ganache is ready.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the ganache ingredients and pour it over the brownie mixture. Sprinkle the red pepper flakes. Place the brownies in the fridge until set or in the freezer for about 5 minutes. Cut the brownies into squares and store for up to 4-5 days.
  4. Serve warm with vanilla icecream.
