ABOUT GRILLED PANEER BHURJI SANDWICH RECIPE

These are the sandwiches made from leftover paneer bhurji. I always love to make some extra bhurji to make them. Bhurji can be made plain or with the addition of vegetables like capsicums, green peas. Today's recipe is with green peas and methi.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices ... as required.
  2. Butter ... for spreading on the bread slices.
  3. (For Paneer Bhurji)
  4. Paneer ..... 1 cup
  5. Onion .......... 1 small (finely chopped)
  6. Garlic paste ... 1 tsp.
  7. Ginger paste ... 1 tsp.
  8. Tomato .. 1 small
  9. Turmeric powder .. 1/8 tsp.
  10. Turmeric powder .. 1/8 tsp.
  11. Cumin powder ....... 1 tsp.
  12. Red chilli powder ... 1/2 tsp.
  13. Salt ......................... to taste
  14. Kasoori methi ....... 1 tsp.
  15. Coriander leaves .... for garnishing.
  16. Oil ... 2 tbsps.

Instructions

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan and stir fry the onions.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for half a minute and add the tomato. Sprinkle a little water and simmer for 3-4 minutes until it is done.
  3. Crumble the paneer and mix it with the onion masala. Add the salt and all the spice powders.. Simmer for a minute.
  4. Sprinkle the dry roasted and crushed kasoori methi and coriander leaves.
  5. To make the sandwiches butter the bread slices and spread some bhurji on them
  6. Grill them in a toaster. Serve hot.

It can be served with schezwan sauce.
