Saucy shrimp stuffed mushrooms

ABOUT Saucy shrimp stuffed mushrooms RECIPE

What an awesome combination and what a beautiful party appetizer. Nothing else could be as delicious as this starter. Button Mushrooms stuffed with stir fried minced shrimp in lip-smacking mustard and barbeque sauce. Have it hot out of the oven(bearably hot) to relish its Wonderfull taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Button Mushrooms - 10 to 12(medium sized)
  2. Shrimp - 1/2 cup cleaned and chopped
  3. Onion - 1 medium
  4. Garlic - 4 cloves chopped fine
  5. Green chillies - 2 chopped
  6. Olive oil - 2 tbsps
  7. Sauces:( secret ingredient)
  8. Mustard sauce - 2 tsps
  9. Barbeque sauce - 2 tsps
  10. Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  11. Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  12. Salt a pinch (as required)
  13. Herbs:
  14. Dried Rosemary/thyme - 1/4 tsp
  15. Coriander - 2 tbsp
  16. Butter - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and remove stems of the mushrooms. Pat dry and drizzle with olive oil. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a sauce pan. Add butter. Throw in garlic and chopped onions. Saute till transperant.
  3. Add the chopped stem of mushrooms and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add the minced shrimp. Add in the Sauces, spices, herbs and salt if required. Stir fry till nicely done. For around 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Now put It on a plate. Add some fresh coriander.
  6. Preheat oven to 200°
  7. Start stuffing the cavity of mushroom with this filling.
  8. Place on a baking tray
  9. Bake uncovered in a preheated oven at 180 ° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with more sauce of your choice.
