ABOUT Pav or dinner rolls RECIPE

A roll is a small, often round loaf of bread served as a meal accompaniment (eaten plain or with butter) A roll can be served and eaten whole or cut transversely and dressed with filling between the two halves

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  2. 2 tbsp oil
  3. 1/2 tsp yeast
  4. 1 tbsp sugar
  5. 1 cup water
  6. 1 tbsp milk( for wash)
  7. 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour with salt. Add yeast sugar mix well
  2. Add water & knead to make a soft dough
  3. Knead fr 10 mins by adding butter at regular intervals
  4. Keep the dough in a greased bowl
  5. Cover the dough with cling flim or wet cloth
  6. Keep this in a warm place fr 45 mins or till double in size
  7. Remove the dough and knead the dough gently removing the bubbles
  8. Make 8 parts
  9. Shape them into pav & place them on a greased baking dish
  10. Cover with awet cloth and allow it to rise fr 10 to 15 mins or till double in size
  11. Preheat the oven at 200°
  12. Milk brush the pav & place in the middle middle rack and bake fr 20 to 30 mins
  13. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Apply butter
  14. After 10 mins remove from the dish and enjoy freshly baked pav
  15. I have doubled the recipe fr making 16 pav asin the pic
