Khatti meethi methi gravy recipe is very easy and tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 tsp sprouted methi seeds
  2. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  3. 6 to 8 curry leaves
  4. 1 onion chopped
  5. 1 tsp garlic paste
  6. 3/4 tsp ginger paste
  7. 1 tsp tamarind paste
  8. 1 tsp jaggery
  9. 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
  10. 1/2 tsp saunth powder
  11. 1/4 tsp termeric powder
  12. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  14. 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  15. 2 tsp fresh coriander leaves chopped
  16. For Fish fry, 2 Fish pieces
  17. 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
  18. 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  19. 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  20. Salt to taste
  21. Mustard Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. First take ginger, garlic paste,few drops of mustard oil and salt and keep aside it for half an hour to marinate.
  2. After 1/2 an hour heat oil in pan when oil completely cook,low the flame,when temperature of oil is decrease add fenugreek seeds in it,when sluppter add marinated fish and fry till cook not over cook.
  3. Now again heat oil in same pan add chopped onion,when translucent add mustard seeds and curry leaves, after 30 seconds add garlic and ginger paste and stir.
  4. Add one by one termeric,red chilli, roasted cumin,saunth and add sprouted fenugreek seeds to cook add some water to roast masala and cover the lid to till remove the oil from all sides of pan.
  5. When masala roast and fenugreek seeds cook,now add dry mango powder,temarind pulp and jaggery in roasted gravy and again stir for 2 to 3 min to cook tamarind pulp, jaggery and garam masala.
  6. When it's completely done,add fresh chopped coriander and mix well.now transfer this gravy in serving plate.
  7. Again heat the fry fish pieces in same pan to enhance the flavour of fish.
  8. Now Khatti,Methi sprouts Methi gravy with fry fish is ready to serve.serve hot for more taste.
