ABOUT Spinach Hummus RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Palak – 2 cups
  2. White onion – 1
  3. White pepper – 1/2 tsp
  4. Boiled chick peas – 100 gram
  5. Lemon juice – one tsp
  6. Roasted white sesame seeds – one tbsp
  7. Garlic cloves 3
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  10. For garnishing
  11. Olive oil 1 tsp
  12. Boiled chick peas 3 tbsp
  13. Paprika powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil water in vessel, add palak , garlic onion and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain water
  2. Grind chickpeas ,white sesame seeds, salt , strained palak, garlic and onion to form smooth paste.
  3. Transfer Spinach hummus into serving bowl. Spread olive oil, sprinkle paprika powder and serve

Can I use vegetable oil in the place of olive oil?
