Delicious chicken cooked in green coriander gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 750 gm chicken medium sized pieces
  2. 5 medium sized onions cubed
  3. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  4. 4 Green chilies paste
  5. Coriander leaves paste 3 tbsp
  6. 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  7. Sugar 3/4 tsp
  8. Mustard oil 3 tbsp
  9. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add onion cubes and salt. Saute until soft
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, saute until raw aroma goes away
  3. Add chicken pieces and mix well
  4. Add the chilly paste, vinegar. Stir and mix nicely then add sugar.
  5. Cover with a lid stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the chicken is tender and cooked, add the coriander leaves paste and coat chicken with paste
  7. Add the cinnamon powder and mix well. Cook for a minute
  8. Serve hot with roti, naan or paratha
