fish samosas are your regular aaloo samosas , shaped like fish .To make them colouful i have not any artificial food colour rather i have used only natural colours using vegetable purees .this makes them so colourful, not only attractive but healthy too .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2.5cup all purpose flour
  2. 3/4cup ghee to crumble flour
  3. 1/2teaspoon carrom seeds
  4. 1/4teaspoon Salt
  5. 2 table spoon boiled and pureed spinach
  6. 2 table spoon boiled and pureed tomato and carrot
  7. 8 Whole cloves
  8. Oil to fry
  9. For stuffing
  10. 4 boiled and mashed potato
  11. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  12. 1teaspoon chat masala
  13. 1/2teaspoon mango powder
  14. 1teaspoon cumin powder
  15. 1teaspoon garammasala powder
  16. 1teaspoon green chilli chopped
  17. 1teaspoon ginger chopped
  18. 1teaspoon green corriander chopped
  19. 1/2teaspoon black salt
  20. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Take a big bowl add mashed potato and all spices as red chilli powder , mango powder,salt,black salt,chat masala ,cumin powder, green chilli ginger ,corriander leaves etc. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Take another big bowl add all purpose flour , ghee ,salt and carrom seeds mix well and make a crumb like mixture.
  3. Divide mixture into three part .and ready puree .
  4. Add water into first part kneed well and make a poori like dough.
  5. Take another part add spinach puree in it and make a dough worh it .add some water if needed.
  6. Now take third part and add tomato carrot puree in it and make a smooth dough of it .
  7. Cover all dough with damp cloth and keep for rest for 15 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile heat oil in a wok .
  9. Now take a small ball from the dough .
  10. Roll it with rolling pin like poori.
  11. Add 2 spoonful potato mixture in the center of poori.
  12. Now make slant cuts both sides of pori .
  13. Now make plates /braid with the pori and end it at the tail .
  14. Make all colourful fishes like this .
  15. Add one clove at the place of eyes .
  16. Fry them in hot oil in medium to low heat .
  17. When it become crisp and golden take out on kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
  18. Serve hot with your favourite souce .
