ABOUT Chocolicious Nutty Modak-Pure heaven RECIPE

This is my innovative version of modaks - the Chocolicious Nutty modaks where I have infused flavours of coffee and cinnamon, and stuffed them with dry fruits mixed with chocolate spread. Its an instant, easy and quick recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 10 hide and seek Biscuits
  2. 1/2 cup Paneer, fresh and home made
  3. 2 tablespoon Milk powder
  4. 1 tablespoon whole Milk
  5. 1 teaspoon sugar or as per the taste
  6. 1/2 teaspoon coffee
  7. 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  8. 2 pinches Cinnamon powder
  9. 1 tablespoon ghee
  10. For the filling
  11. 8 almonds finely chopped
  12. 10 pistachios finely chopped
  13. 2 tablespoon chocolate spread
  14. For the garnish
  15. 1/2 teaspoon colourful sprinklers
  16. 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients
  2. Grind the hide and seek biscuits ito a fine powder.
  3. For the filling mix all the ingredients listed in a mixing bowl and keep aside.
  4. Mash the paneer very nicely. If the paneer is very grainy you can pulse it in mixie for a couple of seconds.
  5. Now in a mixing bowl add crumbled paneer, milk powder, powdered biscuits, coffee, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, sugar, ghee and mix thoroughly.
  6. Now add milk very little at a time and keep mixing until it forms a thick mixture like a chapati dough.
  7. Take a big walnut sized ball from the dough and flatten it.
  8. Make a cavity in the centre and fill 1/4th teaspoon of the nutty mixture.
  9. Now gather the dough and seal from all sides very smoothly giving the shape of a modak.
  10. Make all modaks in the same way
  11. Keep them in refrigerator for about an hour and they are ready to serve.
  12. Garnish with sprinklers and chocolate syrup if you like and serve with love.
