Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Yellow moong dal 1/2 cup
  2. Rice 1 cup
  3. For tempering..1 karchi desi ghee.
  4. Jeera.1/4 teaspoon
  5. Haldi1/4 teaspoon
  6. Lal mirch 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Ajwain.1/4 teaspoon
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the dal and rice for 10 minutes
  2. In a cooker heat desi ghee
  3. Put cumin seeds till splutter
  4. Add carrom seeds lal mirch
  5. Put dal and rice
  6. Now add salt and haldi.
  7. Add 2 glass water
  8. Stir well
  9. Close the lid and cook till 1 whistle.
  10. Open and stir well
  11. Serve with Dahi.Achar and Papad.
