Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  2. Carom seeds - a pinch
  3. Onion seeds - a pinch
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Curd - 2 tablespoon
  7. Ghee - 1/2 cup
  8. Water as requried
  9. For stuffing
  10. Roasted gram flour/sattu - 1 cup
  11. Onion diced - 1
  12. Chopped green chilly - 1/4 teaspoon
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  15. Mustard oil - 1 teaspoon
  16. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon
  17. Chopped garlic cloves - 1 teaspoon
  18. Water - 5 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take a large bowl add wheat flour,carom seeds,onion seeds,salt,curd,baking powder and salt and mix well
  2. Knead to make a stiff dough
  3. Cover the dough with muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 mins
  4. Mix all the ingredients in sattu with the help of water.
  5. The texture should be crumbly,keep aside.
  6. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  7. On your palm, with the help of your finger expand and add 2 tbsp filling on it
  8. Wrap up the dough pieces and close from all sides.
  9. Now bake in microwave
  10. Place the litti on the high rack of microwave and bake it for ten mins till the top is brown
  11. Flip it and bake for five mins
  12. Take ghee in bowl and deep all the littis in this ghee
  13. Serve hot with murg curry.
