Cheesy Macaroni Momos using Rice Flour

These momos are made by using rice flour. Dipped into momos chutney after steaming them.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour - 3 cups
  2. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  3. Boiled Macaroni - 2 cups
  4. Milk - 1/4 cup
  5. Cheese - 4 cubes
  6. All purpose flour - 1tbsp
  7. Maggie masala - 2 tsp
  8. Shejwan chutney - 1 tbsp
  9. Chopped onion -1/4 cup
  10. Chopped tomatos - 1/4 cup
  11. Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Shift rice flour and salt together.
  2. Add this flour to 1cup of boiling water. Mix immediately with the help of spactula.
  3. Let this flour cool at room temperature.
  4. Knead a dough using required warm water. And set aside.
  5. In a deep pan heat oil. Add onion and saute till onion changes its color. Add tomatos.
  6. Add all purpose flour and saute slightly.
  7. Gradually add some milk. Stir continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  8. Add maggie masala and shejwan chutney and mix well.
  9. Add half the grated cheese and continue to stir. After adding the cheese, the sauce will thicken further, so add some milk to adjust the consistency.
  10. Add the boiled macaroni and remaining cheese and mix well. Let it cool at a room temperature.
  11. Make small balls from rice flour and make a shape of momos fill some slightly thicken macaroni into it and make momos of your favorite shape.
  12. Now steam the momos for about 10-15 minutes.
  13. In a hot pan mix steammed momos and hot spicy momos sauce. And serve momos hot.
