Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boottle gourd - 500 gms
  2. Besan - 6 tbsp
  3. Chopped green chilly - 2
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  5. Finely chopped onion - 1
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  8. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  11. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  12. Salt - to taste
  13. Oil - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the bottle gourd.
  2. Grate the bottle gourd and squeeze it
  3. Add green chily,salt,gram flour and mix well.
  4. Make small lemon size balls.
  5. Heat oil for deep frying.
  6. Deep fry these balls until golden in colors.
  7. Always cook in medium flame.
  8. Drain extra oil.
  9. Heat up remaining oil put cumin seeds to crackle.
  10. Add ginger garlic paste,coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and 2 tbsp water n saute for 4 to 5 mins.
  11. Add water n salt for gravy and boil it.
  12. Add the fried kofta and cook for one mins.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
