Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gram pumpkin
  2. 2 green chilli
  3. 1 pod peeled garlic
  4. 1 table spoon yellow mustard
  5. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon panchforan
  7. 1 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
  8. 1table spoon oil
  9. 1 inch stuffed red chill pickle
  10. 2 teaspoon sugar
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add green chilli, garlic and mustard . Make a paste of it.
  2. Peel, wash and cut the pumpkin into 1 inch pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai , add panchforan
  4. Now add chopped onion ,saute till golden brown in color.
  5. Now add mustard paste and turmeric powder. saute for 1-2 minutes
  6. Add chopped pumpkin and salt, and cover with lid
  7. Stir occasionally.
  8. Cook the pumpkin well, add sugar and chilli pickle, coriander ,mix well
  9. Switch off the flame
  10. Serve with poori ,paratha
