ABOUT Grilled Sprouty Potato RECIPE

A great way to start your day is by having this friendly recipe. This recipe is full of healthy proteins, vitamins, fiber and it's the best dish which will keep you satiated. It's a quick and scores high on the taste too and is loved by all age groups. Adding grilled potato and raw mango Chutney to it gives a huge twist which is soo heavenly. Being oil free it's the best and kids will enjoy even if they didn't liked sprouts before.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Baby potatoes, 5
  2. Red chilli powder, 1/2tsp
  3. Dry mango powder, 1/2tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. For sprouts-
  6. Moong sabut, 1 bowl
  7. Kaale change, 1/4 bowl
  8. Ginger, 1/2tsp grated
  9. Onion,1 chopped
  10. Tomato, 1 chopped
  11. Cucumber,1 chopped
  12. Green chilli,1 chopped
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Lemon juice,1tsp
  15. Chaat masala, 1/2tsp
  16. For chutney-
  17. Raw mango, 1 medium size
  18. Green chilli,1
  19. Fresh mint leaves, few
  20. Salt to taste
  21. Cumin seeds, 1/2tsp

Instructions

  1. For sprouts, wash Moong and chane in running water and soak them in water overnight or for 6-7hours.
  2. Now drain the water from them and keep them in soup strainer and cover it.
  3. With this simple way the dals will easily sprout.
  4. Now take a pressure cooker and put these sprouts, add little water and cook for 1 whistle on high flame.
  5. Now let it cool and if you see any water drain it.
  6. Now add salt, ginger, onion, tomato, cucumber, green chilli, lemon juice, chaat masala and mix everything well.
  7. Your sprouts are ready.
  8. For Chutney, peel the mangoes, wash and chop and add green chilli, mint leaves, salt and cumin seeds and grind them together by adding small amount of water.
  9. Your mango Chutney is ready.
  10. Now take baby potatoes and peel and grill them in sandwich maker.
  11. After grilling add salt, red chilli powder and dry mango powder and mix well.
  12. Now finally take a serving plate.
  13. Place potatoes over it. Now put sprouts on it's top.
  14. Pour the Chutney and garnish with few coriander leaves.
  15. Serve and enjoy the delicacy.
