ABOUT Doodh peda/Milk peda RECIPE

One of the most popular Indian sweets prepared with milk and sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 litre milk
  2. 150 gram sugar
  3. 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  4. 1 teaspoon ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk on a medium heat stirring continuously until it starts boiling. (after that no need to stir but after half an hour you need to stir continuously)
  2. When the milk is reduced to approximately one cup add the sugar. Keep mixing.
  3. When it starts leaving edges and looks quite dry add the cardamom powder.
  4. Take it out on a plate greased with ghee.
  5. Let it cool at room temperature and make pedas.
