This is an experimental recipe..white onions are little sweet and mild in texture. kids holidays are going on so try my hands with something healthy and not so spicy recipes..so try this recipe as available ingridients in my kitchen pantry .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 big white onion
  2. 4 tbsp hung curd/ greek yogurt/labneh
  3. 2 tbsp fresh paneer/cottage cheese
  4. 1 tbsp sweet jalapeño chopped
  5. 1 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
  6. 1/4 cup wash and chopped spinach
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tsp freshly ground black Pepper
  9. 1/2 tsp chilli flakes /sweet pepper
  10. 1 tsp oregeno powder
  11. 1 tsp garlic powder
  12. 1 cup all purpose flour
  13. 1 cup Bread crumbs
  14. 2 tbsp flaxseeds meal (powder)
  15. 1/4 cup water
  16. 4 tbsp milk
  17. Oil for frying (i used canola oil)

Instructions

  1. First in a bowl add hung curd/labneh
  2. Add paneer
  3. Now heat a pan add chopped spinach and saute it till all water evaporate
  4. Add spinch, chopped coriander, jalapeño, salt and black pepper in bowl.
  5. Add all spices like black pepper, garlic powder, organo salt and cayenne powder in all purpose flour. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  6. Now we cut white onion in rings and separate rings and arrange it on butter papper in a tray.
  7. Filled onion rings with 1 tbsp or little more hung curd mixture
  8. Keep this tray in freeze for at least 30 minutes to set And firm.
  9. Meanwhile add water in flaxseeds meal and let it rest to become gel like consistency. And add little salt and back pepper in bread crumbs.
  10. After 30 minutes keep it out from freeze.
  11. Dip it in all purpose flour mixture than flaxseeds gel mixture and again coat with bread crumbs to make thick and crispy layer on Onion.
  12. Heat oil in a pan .When it's hot enough. Fry these onion rings on medium flame till golden brown in color from both sides.
  13. Serve hot with your favorite dip..
  14. Enjoy..
