ABOUT Cheesy Corn Olive Flatbread RECIPE

Flatbreads – A beautiful soft bread topped with your favourite toppings. Flatbreads are one of the most enchanting baked stuff.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For dough:
  2. 4 cups All Purpose Flour
  3. 1 tsp active yeast
  4. 1 tsp Baking powder
  5. 1 tsp sugar
  6. 1 cup warm water
  7. For toppings
  8. Boiled sweet corns
  9. Home made tomato sauce
  10. 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  11. 2 tbsp Sliced Black Olives
  12. For Tomato sauce:
  13. 1 pack Safal Tomato Puree
  14. 1 tsp ginger-garlic minced
  15. 1 tbsp Butter
  16. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  17. 1 tsp sugar
  18. 1 tsp black pepper
  19. Salt according to taste

Instructions

  1. Tomato Sauce:
  2. Heat butter and add ginger–garlic. Let it fry and add puree. Let them simmer on high flame for 1 min.
  3. Add tomato ketchup and spices. Mix well and let it simmer for another 5 mins. Tomato sauce is ready!
  4. For dough:
  5. Dissolve sugar in the warm water and add yeast. Mix lightly and let it prove for 20 mins.Sieve the flours + salt together.
  6. Add 1 tbsp olive oil.Knead it well using yeast water. Add more water if required.
  7. Once kneaded, brush it with olive oil and let it rest for 1 hr. The dough will be doubled in its size.
  8. Now time for assembling:
  9. Now, roll a certain portion of dough into a rectangular shape. Take another portion of dough and make long strand out of it
  10. Spread a mixture of Cheese. Spread tomato sauce over it
  11. Top it with olives and corns
  12. Grate more Mozzarella Cheese
  13. Put it on the baking tray in a pre-heated oven
  14. Let it bake at 180 degrees for 20mins
