Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. A). Fish Cakes
  2. Soul/Surmai fish : 400 gms
  3. 3-4 spring onions along with stalk
  4. 4-5 garlic
  5. Salt n any Fish seasoning
  6. Small piece ginger
  7. Fish sauce
  8. B). Velvety Tomato Gravy
  9. 3 types of tomatoes
  10. 4 medium sized red tomatoes peeled skin and chop them in fine chunks
  11. 7-8 cherry tomatoes .... will be added at the end almost
  12. 1 tbsp full of Tom Yum tomato paste (Thai paste for soups)
  13. 4-5 garlic n ginger hand crushed and chopped finely
  14. Salt, Pepper
  15. 1/2 cup water
  16. Few drops of olive oil.

Instructions

  1. A) Fish cakes
  2. Simply put all ingredients in a mincer and pulse for a minute.
  3. Grease a heart shaped cutter and just put 2 spoonful mix in it and get the desired shape.
  4. Keep them in a greased plate to easily lift them once all are done
  5. It will be bit sticky mix.
  6. Put few drops of oil in a pan
  7. cook on medium flame on a pan to get crust
  8. Flip and cook on both sides
  9. B) Velvety Tomato Gravy
  10. In a wok, Add oil, heat and add ginger garlic. Roast for a min.
  11. Add chopped peeled tomatoes and a bit of salt to help it soften.
  12. Cover and let it cook till they are mushy
  13. Add tom yum paste. Saute for 1-2 min together.
  14. Add water and let the paste release its flavor
  15. Give 1-2 boil....add cherry tomatoes... little salt n pepper.
  16. Cook for further 1 min. Add dried chyme. Done.
