ABOUT Falooda Noodles / Falooda Sev RECIPE

Falooda Noodles or Falooda Sev are yummy cornflour noodles which are light and take on any flavour.Mixed with thickened milk they are uber delicious and melt in the mouth.They are very easy to make and conveniently stored in the refrigerator.So here goes one of the easiest recipes to prepare!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup / 100 gm - Cornflour
  2. 1 1/2 Cups plus 1 tbsp - Water
  3. Yellow colour or as per choice
  4. 2 cups - Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Mix cornflour, water and colour in a pan and whisk well till there are no lumps. Now pour into the non stick pan.
  2. Keep the sev press, a bowl of chilled water and ice cubes ready at hand.
  3. On medium heat let the liquid come to a boil and it will thicken almost instantly into a gelatinous mass. Carefully scoop it up and put it into the Sev Press. Force it through the press. Let the Falooda Noodles drop into the pan of chilled water.
  4. Refrigerate and use as needed. You may also use it immediately.
