Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For the bread:
  2. 3 cups all purpose flour
  3. 1.5 teaspoon yeast
  4. One cup milk
  5. Half cup warm water
  6. 2 tea spoon sugar
  7. One teaspoon salt
  8. 4 tablespoon spoon butter
  9. For tikki:
  10. One table spoon cornflour
  11. Two mashed potatoes
  12. Tikki masala according to taste (dry mango powder, herbs spices, salt and red chilli powder).
  13. For chole:
  14. Boiled peas one cup
  15. Three tomatoes
  16. Two small onion
  17. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  18. Tamarind chutney- 1 tsp
  19. Green chutney- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Add yeast and sugar to warm water and keep aside for 10 mins
  2. In a big bowl add APF, salt, milk, butter, yeast mixture and knead a dough
  3. Keep the dough in another greased bowl and cover it with a cling and keep for one to two hours to rise or double in size
  4. After it has doubled in size punch the dough and knead again and give the desired shape
  5. Keep it again for ten mins at a warm place.
  6. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and bake it for 12-15 mins at 180 degrees
  7. For the tikki add all the spices, corn flour, salt, chilli, dry mango powder and make round balls or any shape you want
  8. Deep fry the tikki.
  9. For chhole make a thick gravy of onion, tomato and add ginger garlic paste. Add chickpeas and cook for ten mins
  10. Take the bread and slit
  11. Apply tamarind chutney, green chutney
  12. Keep two tikki on the bread and spread chhole on it
  13. Garnish and enjoy
