ABOUT Paneer tikka masala stuffed khari RECIPE

Yet another awesome appetizer prepared very quickly using ready made mini khari puffs. Perfect for days when you dont want to spend ample time in kitchen and still want to treat yourself to something really delicious. Perfect appetizer for large gathering as it is prepared in a jiffy if you have all the ingredients handy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 12 mini khari puffs
  2. 1/2 cup paneer cubes
  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
  4. 1/4 cup finely chopped babycorn
  5. 3/4 cup yogurt
  6. 1/4 cup grated processed cheese
  7. 2 tbsp roasted besan
  8. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  9. 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  10. 2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  11. 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
  12. 1/2 tsp crushed kasoori methi
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Chilli flakes and cilantro for final garnishing

Instructions

  1. Firstly preheat your oven at 180 C
  2. Next cut the paneer into very small cubes.Similarly finely chop the babycorn and capsicum and put aside.
  3. Next take yogurt in the bowl whisk it well to make it smooth.
  4. Next add paneer cubes, finely chopped capsicum and babycorn and all the masalas mentioned in ingredients above except grated cheese.
  5. Mix well and keep aside for 30 minutes. You can even skip this step if you want to prepare instantly.
  6. Meanwhile take the khari biscuits and make a cavity in the centre using your thumb like how we do for pani puris.
  7. Make sure to keep the bottom intact.
  8. Now fill in the paneer tikka filling in all the kharis and spread grated cheese over it.
  9. Bake it in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is browned.
  10. Garnish with some chilli flakes and cilantro.
  11. Serve with tomato ketchup or any dip or chutney of your choice.
  12. The cross section of the khari after being baked.
