Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For Malabari protta:
  2. Maida - 1 cup
  3. Suji - 2 tbsp
  4. Oil or ghee - 1 tbsp
  5. Warm water - 1 cup (for kneading)
  6. Salt - according to taste or 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add maida, suji, salt and oil to it. Mix them well and make the soft dough by adding warm water.
  2. Keep the dough in the warm place for 1 hour.
  3. After 1 hour, make some balls from the dough. Take a ball, drizzle some oil on it and then flatten it.
  4. Cut it vertically to make it like a ribbon. Roll that ribbon circularly on your fingers, then keep it on the plate and press it from your hands.
  5. Now, roast them perfectly in a hot tawa and apply ghee or oil to it.
