Dough kneaded with methi puree and aalu. Very soft chewy crispy
Nice recipe!
For methi puree ~ add methi leaves, ginger and green chilli in a mixer. Add little water and beat it to a smooth puree.
For methi aalu dough ~ Take dough in a bowl. Add onion, salt, red chilli powder, ajwain, oil and potato. Start mixing it properly till the texture of the dough becomes crumbly.
Now add methi puree little by little and knead it to a smooth soft dough. Add very less water just to smoothen the dough (i used only 2 tbsp). Cover it with lid and keep it in fridge for 1 hr.
Now heat tawa. Take a small ball from the dough. Roll it into a paratha. Place it on the tawa and cook both sides till crispy.
Transfer it to a serving plate.
And serve with butter or chutney.
