Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour - 2 cup
  2. Curd - 1 cup
  3. Milk - 1/2 cup
  4. Condensed Milk - 1 Cup
  5. Banana puree - 1 cup
  6. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  7. Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  8. Sugar powder - 1 cup
  9. Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
  10. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl sieve in all dry ingredients(wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) ....and gently mix in the wet ingredients.....
  2. Mix curd and condensed milk to a smooth mix.
  3. First add banana puree........then curd mix ....mix slowly..... never change direction of mixing.....if you start clockwise....end up clockwise......this is to avoid air bubbles in batter.
  4. Once the mixing is completely over ...divide the batter into two equal half.
  5. To one half add cocoa powder and mix in one direction.Keep the other batter as such .
  6. Take a baking tray and grease it with butter. Sprinkle some maida into the tray and dust it to get coated all over the tray.
  7. Now into the baking tray.... add one tbsp of plain batter ,on top of the plain batter add the cocoa batter , again on top of the cocoa batter add plain batter..... continue doing in this way till both the batter is over.
  8. Now gently tap the baking tray for the batter to spread evenly all over the tray.
  9. Once the tapping is over the tray has to go straight into the steaming cooker.
  10. Steam for 40 minutes and check by inserting a toothpick and it comes out clean.... The cake is ready.
  11. Let the tray cool down... Tap the tray upside-down on a plate and reverse it, slice it and serve.... You can also frost it.
