ABOUT Corn Chaat In Tomato Bowls RECIPE

These tomatoes are stuffed with tangy corn chaat and topped with crisp Sev and Boondi.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 5 tomatoes ; with the tops cut off
  2. 1 cup of sweet corn
  3. 2 medium sized onions ; finely chopped
  4. 2 cucumbers ; finely chopped
  5. 1 large bell pepper ; finely chopped
  6. 2 tsp chaat masala
  7. 1/4th cup both boondi and sev
  8. Black pepper
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the tops off the tomatoes and set aside.
  2. Mix together the corn with onions, cucumbers and bell peppers.
  3. Add chaat masala, salt and black pepper to taste. Mix in a spoonful of tamarind chutney too.
  4. Mix well and stuff the tomatoes with this corn chaat.
  5. As a topping, add the boondi and sev immediately before serving.
  6. Top it off by spreading some chilli garlic sauce on each tomato.
