Macaroni tossed in white sauce topped with cheese and herbs, served in bread buns.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Bread buns 5
  2. Macaroni 1 cup
  3. Onion chopped 1/2 cup
  4. Tricolour bell peppers chopped half cup
  5. Sweet corn kernels 1/2 cup
  6. Butter 2 tbsp
  7. All purpose flour 1 tsp
  8. Milk 1+1/2 cup
  9. Salt 2 tsp
  10. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Chilli flakes 1 tsp
  12. Italian mix herbs 1 tbsp
  13. Red pasta sauce 5 tsp
  14. Processed cheese 100 gms

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl boil 4 glasses of water. When water gets rolling boiled, add 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp salt, macaroni and sweet corn kernels.
  2. Boil for 10 minutes till done and drain.
  3. In a wok add butter. Saute chopped onions.
  4. Add flour and roast.
  5. Add milk and cook till you get a thick sauce.
  6. Add chopped bell peppers, 1 tsp salt, black pepper, chilli flakes, mix herbs, 50 gm grated cheese. Mix well.
  7. Toss boiled macroni and corns in white sauce.
  8. Scoop all bread buns to make bowls.
  9. Line all bread bowls with 1 tsp red pasta sauce.
  10. Fill in white sauce macroni.
  11. Top with remaining grated cheese.
  12. Sprinkle some chilli flakes and mix herbs.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
