ABOUT Plum Crumble RECIPE

Plums are Sweet and tangy. With the onset of the season of plums, all I had in mind was to make this plum crumble. Sweet and Juicy plums, mixed in a sweet sauce and topped with a buttery crispy mixture, makes an awesome dessert for an after dinner sweet craving.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 5-6 plums sliced
  2. 1/4 cup milkmaid
  3. 4 tsp butter
  4. For the crumble topping -
  5. 2 tbsp butter
  6. 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  7. 6 tbsp all purpose flour
  8. 1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
  9. 1 pinch Baking Powder
  10. 2-3 drops vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees C
  2. In a bowl take milkmaid and butter and microwave for 20-30secs. Mix till well incorporated. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Take 2 ramekin moulds, grease with butter and fill half with plum slices. Generously top it with milkmaid mixture.
  4. Mix all the ingredients of crumble topping and divide in both the moulds. Press lightly with the help of spoon.
  5. Bake at 180 C for around 40-45mins till the top is golden brown.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
