Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 1-1/3 cup + (1 tbsp for coating tutti fruity)
  2. Cornflour 1 tbsp heaped
  3. Tutti fruity 1-1/3 cup
  4. Blackcurrants 1/3 cup
  5. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  6. Baking powder 1 tsp
  7. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  8. Milk 1/2 cup
  9. Oil 1/2 cup
  10. Powder Sugar 1/2 cup
  11. Milkmaid 1/4 cup
  12. White vinegar 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix maida, cornflour, baking soda and baking powder. Keep aside. In another bowl mix tutti frutti and 1 tbsp maida. Keep aside.
  2. In another bowl mix oil and sugar. Add milk and vanilla essence. Mix well. Now add milkmaid and mix well. Keep aside.
  3. Now add oil, milk mixture in maida little by little. Mix it till you get a smooth batter without lumps.
  4. Now add black currants and mix.
  5. Add tutti frutti and mix well.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C for 10 min.
  7. Place foil paper at base of the cake pan. Grease and dust the pan. Keep aside.
  8. Now add vinegar to the batter and mix. Pour it immediately in the baking pan.
  9. Place it in the oven and bake for 50 min.
  10. Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely. Invert it on the plate.
  11. Slice and serve.
