Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana dal 250 gm
  2. Chopped onions 1/2 cup
  3. Garlic Cloves 5
  4. Chopped coriander 3 tbsp
  5. Mashed potatoes 1/2 cup
  6. Chopped green chillies 2 TSP
  7. Cornflour 2 tbsp
  8. Garam masala to taste
  9. oil for cooking
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean,wash and soak the chana dal for 30/minutes
  2. Drain and pressure cook till soft
  3. Drain excess water,mash dal and keep aside
  4. Combine the ingredients with dal and keep aside
  5. Divide the mixture into equal proportions and make round tikkis
  6. Heat a tawa and cook each tikki using little oil, till they turn golden brown and crispy from both sides
  7. Serve hot
