Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the Koftas :
  2. Boiled corn - 1/2 cup
  3. Grated Carrot - 1 cup
  4. Boiled mashed potato - 2
  5. Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1/4th tsp
  7. Salt
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  9. Maida/wheat flour/cornflour - 1 tbsp
  10. Refined oil
  11. For the Gravy :
  12. Fried onion paste - 3 tbsp
  13. Cashew paste - 2 tbsp
  14. Curd - 1 Tbsp
  15. (Cloves - 4, cinnamon - 1, elaichi - 3) powder - 2 tsp
  16. Freshly ground Black pepper - 1 tsp
  17. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  18. Green chillies - 4
  19. Lime juice - 1 Tbsp
  20. Milk - 1/4 th cup
  21. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  22. Salt
  23. Ghee/refined oil
  24. Pudina leaves
  25. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix all the ingredients together mentioned under KOFTAS. Make small balls of the mixture, deep fry them in hot oil. Keep aside.
  2. 2. Take a kadhai , heat ghee/oil. Add fried onion paste. Saute for a minute, then add the cashew nut paste.
  3. 3. Add salt, rest of the masalas, curd and cook till the masala leaves oil.
  4. 4. Then add lime juice, green chillies, Pudina and coriander leaves, milk and water to form the gravy.
  5. 5. Add the KOFTAS and serve.
