ABOUT Homemade bounty bars RECIPE

Condensed milk, grated coconut and dark chocolate are all you need to make these simple, delicious , and "healthier " version of the Bounty (Almond joy) candy bar!

Ingredients Serving: 12

  1. 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  2. 1/3 cup condensed milk
  3. 100 grams dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Mix the grated coconut and condensed milk well.
  2. Using a cookie cutter or by hand , shape into squares or rectangles of size of your choice. You can even roll them into balls.
  3. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours or until set.
  4. Chop the chocolate and melt in microwave or using a double boiler.
  5. Let the chocolate cool for a few minutes
  6. Working fast , dip each coconut - condensed milk square or ball into the melted chocolate , remove and place on parchment.
  7. Let chocolate set and cut off any uneven edges.
