ABOUT Oats and Apricot Granola Squares RECIPE

These are amazingly tasty, healthy squares to much on for small hungers. Kids love it and so as the older ones. You dont need any added sugar as apricots as so sweet themselves.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3/4 cup Peanut butter
  2. 1/2 cup dried apricots chopped roughly
  3. 1/2 cup Honey
  4. 1 cup oats
  5. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. In a heavy bottom saucepan heat the peanut butter until melted on low flame. Add honey, salt and apricots and mix.
  2. Add in 3/4 cup oats. Mix.
  3. If the mixture is still too wet add in more oats. I used almost of my 1 cup. So it will depend on the spot how much is needed.
  4. Line a square pan with foil or parchment paper. Tip in the granola mix and press it hard in a thin layer. Make sure to get it even around the edges.
  5. Let it cool at room temperature and then refregerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. Cut in squares and Enjoy!!
