Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup oats
  2. 1/2 tsp oil
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 1 small carrot chopped
  5. 1/4 cup chopped french beans
  6. Sprig of curry leaves
  7. 1 tsp Mustard seed
  8. 1 Tsp cumin seed
  9. 1 tsp urad and chana dal
  10. 1/2 tsp ginger finely chopped
  11. 1 green chili chopped
  12. Sprig of coriander leaves
  13. 1 Cup water
  14. Salt as taste
  15. Crushed peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat oil add mustard seed and zeera and saut them till they crackle.
  2. Add chana dal and urad dal stir till it get browned.
  3. Add onion ginger green chillies and curry leaves and saut for a minute.
  4. Then add all the vegetables and stir for 2 minutes.
  5. Then add water cover the pan and cook it for 5 minutes.
  6. Then add oats . Stir lightly add salt as required. Let it cook for another 2 minute on a low flame.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves and crushed peanuts.
