ABOUT Baked Potato Roses RECIPE

It is beautiful to look at but simple and easy to make. I feel proud of these potato roses because everyone liked it and I won the Janmashtami competition when I made this dish.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 5-6 small sized potatoes
  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 1/2 tsp dry mint leaves
  4. Salt according to taste
  5. Black pepper according to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Then slice them with a potato chips cutter. Let them rest in cold water. Then sieve and pat dry on a kitchen towel.
  2. In a big bowl mix the melted butter, rest of the ingredients and the potato slices.
  3. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius. Also grease a muffin tray and set the potato slices in it in a rose shape.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or till it's colour changes.
  5. Then remove and serve it hot with your favourite sauce.
