Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mung daal with skin(green) 1cup
  2. Chana daal 3 table spoon
  3. Rice 3 table spoon
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
  5. Ginger 1 big piece
  6. Garlic cloves 2
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Green chillies 2 chopped
  9. Coriander leaves 2tablespoon
  10. Black pepper crushed
  11. Baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix daal and rice wash it 2-3 time and soak overnight.
  2. After 7-8 hrs drain the water add ginger and garlic and grind it in a mixture grinder . Add 4 tablespoons of water to make coarse but not too dry mixture. It should look something like this.
  3. Add chopped chilies and coriander leaves ,salt,black pepper,cumin seeds and baking soda.
  4. Mix for 2 min and prepare oil for frying.
  5. Oil should not be too hot,it should be medium hot. Take batter in a spoon pour it in hot oil( you can use hand too). Cook until golden brown from all the side.
  6. Serve hot with tea or tomato catch-up.
