ABOUT Chocolate Cake RECIPE

It's a chocolate cake topped with some chocolate sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 10

Maida 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Oil 1 cup
4 Eggs
Baking powder 1 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Cardamom (elaichi) powder 1 tsp
Nuts and raisins

Instructions

Grind the sugar to a fine powder and mix the elaichi powder in it.
Then mix the oil and sugar powder mixture and beat for 5 mins. Now add the eggs 1 by 1 and beat it well.
Sieve the maida and baking powder together and add it in the wet mixture. Gently fold till there are no lumps and a smooth texture is formed.
Add vanilla essence and mix well. Then add the chopped nuts and raisins.
Grease a cooker and dust some maida/flour in it. Now pour in the cake mix and close the lid.
Remove the whistle.
Place the cooker on a tava and put this on the gas stove.
Cook it for 5 mins in a full flame then for 1 hour in a low flame.
