Nutrition rich ladoos for kids as well as teenagers who are going for workouts and watching their diets.Made from dates,ragi,raisins and groundnuts.No oil,ghee or sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Ragi flour 1 cup
  2. Soft dates 1 cup
  3. Groundnuts 1 cup
  4. Raisins 1 cup
  5. Cardamoms 5
  6. Dessicated coconut to roll the balls

Instructions

  1. Dry roast ragi flour in a thick bottomed pan.
  2. After 4-5 minutes nice aroma comes from flour.Remove it in another bowl.Allow to cool.
  3. Roast a cup of groundnuts also.
  4. Roast on slow flame and remove in a plate after they change colour slightly.
  5. Now take deseeded soft dates in mixer jar.
  6. Add roasted and cooled groundnuts, raisins and cardamom seeds.
  7. Grind without any water.Groundnuts will release oil and the moistness of dates and raisins will help in grinding.
  8. Now add ragi flour and grind again.
  9. Remove the mixture in a bowl.
  10. Knead it into a smooth dough.
  11. Now make small ladoos from this.
  12. Roll in dessicated coconut.This is optional.
  13. You can keep these ladoos for about 2 weeks outside and enjoy.
