Kids love to eat bakery food.To some extent we can avoid it by preparing at home.It is very crispy and yummy snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For puff sheets-Refined flour 2 cups
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Butter 180 grams
  4. Lime juice 2 tea spoons
  5. Chilled water for making dough
  6. For stuffing- boiled potatoes 4
  7. Chopped onions 1/2 cup
  8. Green chillies 2
  9. Chilly powder 1 tea spoon
  10. Garam masala 1 tea spoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil 2 table spoons
  13. Turmeric 1/2 tea spoon
  14. Ginger garlic paste 1 tea spoon
  15. Minced coriander 2 table spoons

Instructions

  1. Take refined flour in a bowl and add 2 table spoons butter,salt,lemon juice to it
  2. Mix it and make a dough by adding chilled water to it
  3. Roll it in to a rectangle and add butter to it.Book fold it and refrigerate it for half an hour.
  4. Repeat the process of rolling and book folding it for 6 times.Refrigerate it each time for half an hour
  5. Mean while prepare the potato stuffing.
  6. Heat oil in a pan add onions,ginger garlic paste, turmeric,green chillies and salt to it. Sauté it.
  7. Now add mashed potatoes, chilly powder,garam masala,minced coriander to it.Mix it well and the stuffing is ready.
  8. Now take the folded dough and roll it thin in a rectangular shape
  9. Cut it into small equal rectangles.Add spoonful of potato stuffing to it.
  10. Fold each sheet and seal it by applying little water to it and refrigerate it for 15 minutes
  11. Pre heat microwave at 200 degrees and bake it for 20 to 30 minutes.Brush the puffs with milk.
  12. Bakery style puffs are ready to serve with out using any dalda or vanaspati to it.
