Dry potato curry with peas

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled n peeled potatoes 500 gms
  2. Boiled peas 1 cup
  3. Tomatoes chopped 2 big
  4. Hing 1pinch
  5. Ginger paste 2 teaspoons
  6. Jeera powder 1teaspoon
  7. sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Slit green chillies 2
  9. Haldi 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil 3 tablespoon
  12. Coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and put in Haldi and 2 pinches salt. Then add the boiled potatoes
  2. Coat the potato well with the Haldi and keep in a bowl.
  3. Heat rest of the oil and add sugar. As it melts, put in chopped tomatoes, salt, ginger paste and jeera powder.
  4. Put in the boiled peas
  5. Fry well
  6. As the paste dries up, sprinkle some water and saute under low flame
  7. Add slit chillies and cover n cook in low flame
  8. Add the potatoes and mix well with the masala
  9. Turn off the flame.
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander
  11. Serve hot with roti, parathas or puri.
