ABOUT Cheese Stuffed Soft Garlic Bombs RECIPE

Soft cheesy garlic bread with a secret gooey cheese filling. They look so boring and plain, right? But then you bite into one and there’s all that melty gooey cheese. Look at that oozing cheese from bombs. It’s bliss. And the bread part itself is so light and fluffy. These are delicious and are at prime when you have them while they are warm. Garlic cheesy incredible goodness.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For the Buns:
  2. Lukewarm water 1 cup
  3. Yeast 2 tbsp
  4. Sugar 2 tbsp
  5. Garlic powder 2 tsp
  6. Butter, melted 1/4 cup
  7. Olive Oil 1/4 cup
  8. All-purpose flour 3 cups
  9. Salt 2 tsp
  10. For Filling:
  11. Mozzarella cheese 8 ounce
  12. For topping:
  13. Butter, melted 3 tbsp
  14. Cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 cup
  15. Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
  16. Fresh basil, finely chopped 1 tbsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the yeast and water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar, garlic powder, melted butter, and oil.
  3. Add little flour at a time, mixing in your stand mixer with a dough hook.
  4. Add the salt.
  5. Knead for 10 minutes, in the stand mixer or by hand.
  6. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a wet cloth for about 30 minutes to double in volume.
  7. While the dough is resting, cut mozzarella cheese into 14 pieces and set aside.
  8. Preheat the oven to 190 degree Celsius.
  9. Once the dough is doubled, divide it into 14 pieces or so (you can make them as big or small as you want).
  10. Slightly flatten the dough balls and place the cheese and cover it tightly and make a smooth ball.
  11. Put the pinched side down on a greased baking sheet.
  12. Brush each bun with melted butter and sprinkle some cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese.
  13. Bake at 190 degree Celsius for about 12-15 minutes.
  14. Serve warm.
