ABOUT Aloo tikki burger RECIPE

This is my kids favorite breakfast ,which they can have repeated over many days. Simple yet tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 burger buns
  2. 4 boiled potatoes
  3. 1 onion
  4. 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  5. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  6. Salt,to taste
  7. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. Oil,for shallow fry
  10. 1/2 cup tomato ketchup

Instructions

  1. Mash the potatoes well.
  2. Add bread crumbs.
  3. Add salt,black pepper powder,garam masala powder and coriander leaves.
  4. Shape into small tikkis .
  5. Shallow fry these tikkis in a pan with oil till brown on both sides.
  6. Cut the burger bun into half .
  7. Use some butter and toast the two half of the buns on tawa.
  8. Apply tomato ketchup on lower half of the buns.
  9. Top it with round slices of onion and one tikki on each.
  10. Cover it with the other half of buns.
  11. Serve them hot with more ketchup.
