Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 400 gms peeled and boiled lotus stem, mashed
  2. 4 medium size potatoes peeled boiled and mashed
  3. 100 gms paneer crumbled
  4. 1 tbsp dry curry masala
  5. 1 cup bread crumbs
  6. 2 tbsp sooji
  7. 1 tbsp Maida
  8. 1 tbsp oil
  9. Salt to taste
  10. For the Filling of Coleslaw salad:
  11. Cream cheese 100 gms
  12. 1 small carrot chopped finely
  13. 1 capsicum chopped finely
  14. 1/2 cup cabbage chopped finely.
  15. mustard sauce as per taste
  16. Mixed herbs of choice
  17. Chilli flakes a few
  18. Tomato ketchup
  19. Big bread

Instructions

  1. Preparing the Tikki: Take above all ingredients before coleslaw salad in a bowl. Make a medium sized tikki and deep fry in hot oil. Keep aside.
  2. Preparing the Coleslaw salad filling: Mix all the vegetables with cream cheese, add seasonings as per your choice and chilli flakes.
  3. Start by spreading cheesy veg on one slice cover with second slice, apply mustard sauce on it.
  4. Put tikki, spread tomato ketchup upon tikki and cover with third slice.
  5. Spread the cheesy coleslaw and cover with fourth slice.
  6. Serve or wrap in cling film for chilling in the fridge.
