Waooo, Mini Idly Bhalla An amazing combination of South Indian idli with curd and chutneys . A cold preparation of Dahi vada where idli is replaced with vada. Its a refreshing and healthy chat with a south Indian touch. A simple and quickly made snack specially for summer season.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 piece ready idli (can be fresh or leftover)
  2. 1 cup fresh curd
  3. 2 tsp powdered sugar
  4. 3 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
  5. 3 tbsp spicy green coriander chutney
  6. ½ tsp salt
  7. ½ tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1 tsp Chat masala
  9. 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  10. For garnish - 1 tsp tutti frutti
  11. 2 tsp nylon sev

Instructions

  1. Prepare fresh idli or refresh them in steam if using leftover.
  2. Sieve the curd in the muslin cloth to remove extra water.
  3. Beat the curd with a spoon and mix 2 tsp powdered sugar.
  4. Take a serving dish, place 2 idlis, cover them with enough smooth and sweetened curd.
  5. Spread sweet tamarind chutney and spicy coriander chutney.
  6. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, chat masala and roasted cumin seeds powder one by one.
  7. Garnish with tutti frutti and nylon sev. Enjoy refreshing and healthy chat.
