A very different flavour when you take a bite of phirni along with the biscuit tart.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup marie biscuit powder to make the Tarts
  2. 2 tsp melted Amul butter(salted)
  3. 2 tsp powder sugar
  4. 1/2 cup rice
  5. 2 cups boiled milk
  6. 1/4 cup sugar
  7. Kesar strands a few
  8. Sliced almonds for garnish..

Instructions

  1. Grind marie biscuits.
  2. Make a fine powder.
  3. Add melted butter ,powder sugar and mix well and make the base of the tarts with this mixture and set it in the refrigerator for an hour.
  4. Soak rice for an hour and grind it in paste.
  5. In a Pan add ghee , add paste , and stir fast for 3-4 mins..add boiled milk slowly and keep mixing so that lumps are not formed.
  6. Add sugar and mix till it gets thick.
  7. Add kesar and immediately transfer in the bowl and refrigerate it.
  8. Garnish with sliced almonds..
  9. Add the pudding in the tarts and serve chilled and garnish with sliced almonds.
  10. Serve immediately
